Ribbon Cutting Welcomes New Leadership at Carteret County Democratic Party

The Carteret County Democratic Party celebrated a new chapter on Wednesday, June 4, with a well-attended Ribbon Cutting at their downtown Morehead City headquarters. Hosted in partnership with the Carteret Chamber, the event marked the launch of five newly elected offices and a renewed commitment to civic engagement across the county.

Executive Committee Chair Terrie Hostmark offered a warm welcome, following an introduction by Secretary Sue Schurer. Also present were fellow officers:

• 2nd Vice Chair: Curtis Oden
• 3rd Vice Chair: Liz Becker
• Treasurer: Kelly Feldsine

Chamber Board Members, Ambassadors, and staff joined community members in celebrating the occasion. Attendees enjoyed refreshments and lively conversation, with many remarking on the welcoming atmosphere and spirit of collaboration.
