Clarvida Opens Its Doors in Morehead City: A New Resource for Whole-Person Care

This week, we had the joy of celebrating Clarvida of North Carolina’s newest location with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, December 9. We are thrilled to welcome the arrival of a compassionate, community-focused resource that will make a meaningful difference for individuals and families across Carteret County.

Located on Penny Lane in Morehead City, Clarvida’s newly renovated space is bright, airy, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The environment reflects their core mission: creating safe, supportive spaces for people of all ages to receive mental and behavioral health care.

A Mission Led by Passion

During the ribbon cutting, Dr. Jennifer A. Brady-Chitjian, Executive Director for Clarvida of North Carolina, shared the story behind the organization’s mission and their journey to opening a Morehead City site. As the 8th Clarvida location in North Carolina, this expansion is part of a growing commitment to increase access to quality behavioral health support across the state.

Clarvida’s leadership and staff emphasized their focus on meeting individuals where they are, providing care with dignity, empathy, and respect.

Comprehensive Services for All Ages

The Morehead City location offers a broad spectrum of services designed to support individuals, families, and caregivers. Their offerings include:

  • Individual therapy & counseling
  • Group therapy
  • Foster family and caregiver support
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Medication management
  • Skill-building and structured interventions
  • Telehealth access to expanded services through other Clarvida NC locations

Whether someone is seeking support for behavioral challenges, emotional well-being, developmental needs, or family-based care, Clarvida provides a comprehensive approach built around each client’s needs and goals.

Celebrating With Community Leaders

We were grateful to have several community voices join us in welcoming Clarvida, including Council Member Tristan Thomas of Newport and Council Member Lee Stiles of Morehead City. Their presence underscored the importance of increasing behavioral health resources for residents of all ages.

Clarvida is officially open and accepting new patients, ready to serve Carteret County with accessible, integrated, whole-person care. Their team brings warmth, expertise, and a commitment to positive outcomes and we’re proud to welcome them to our business community.
